With 11 artists visiting from South Africa, The South African Performing Arts Exchange brought together over twenty local Connecticut and Massachusetts based agencies and non-profits for a dynamic and meaningful series of month-long workshops culiminating in final presentation of poetry and dance.. Funded by the U.S. Department of State's Bureau for Education and Cultural Affairs and the Institute for Training and Development, participants from the Berkshire Project Hip Hop Remix Program were asked to participate in creating a poetry based performance.      |
